 The
B.E.S.T. Youth Program is a nonprofit
organization committed to providing quality
educational enrichment and sports programs for youth
in the community. We offer an array of great
academic and sport programs for boys and girls ages
6-17.
Established in 2001, BEST has
grown from a small organization into a program
serving children attending several elementary,
middle and high schools in the Middlesex, Union and
Somerset County area.
Our mission is to provide youth
with culturally enriching and stimulating
educational and recreational opportunities that
build self-esteem and teach basic life skills. We
serve a diverse population through a variety of
affordable or free outdoor recreational activities,
before and after school daycare, sports programs and
special events.
Each month we serve hundreds of
children with many of our programs daily. We are
open year round including some holidays. Monday –
Friday from plus some Saturdays and Sundays for
special events |
Over
the last two years, the program has experienced phenomenal
growth. Class attendance is up 70%; sports program
participation is up 75% and special event attendance has
increased 50%.
As attendance in these programs increased we
also recognized the need to provide extra educational help –
to help children bridge the learning gap between school and
home. Therefore, we created the B.E.S.T. Educational Center.
To provide high quality educational resources to the
students/parents at a very affordable fee.
